Meet Bright Minds with Miss P

Natalie
My Mission
At Bright Minds with Miss P, my mission is to provide personalised, high quality educational support that inspires confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. I am committed to helping every child build strong foundations, overcome learning challenges, and develop the knowledge, skills, and self-belief needed to achieve their individual goals. Through evidence informed teaching and a supportive, encouraging environment, I aim to empower children to become confident, capable, and lifelong learners.
Over a Decade of Dedicated Experience
I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience supporting children from Foundation to Year 6. Throughout my career, I have worked across a range of schools in Melbourne's Hume region, supporting children from diverse backgrounds with a wide variety of learning strengths, abilities, and support needs.
My teaching is grounded in evidence based practice, explicit instruction, and differentiated learning. I believe every child learns differently, which is why I carefully tailor each session to meet their individual needs, strengths, and goals. My priority is to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where children feel confident to ask questions, take risks, and enjoy learning.
I focus on building strong relationships with every child, using thoughtful questioning, guided practice, meaningful feedback, and carefully scaffolded instruction to strengthen understanding and close learning gaps. I aim to develop confident, independent learners who believe in their own abilities and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have supported children with a broad range of learning and developmental needs, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia), Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), trauma backgrounds, and English as an Additional Language (EAL). These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching, provide personalised supports, and create calm, responsive learning environments where every child feels safe, understood, and capable of success.
As a reflective educator, I am committed to ongoing professional learning and continually refining my practice to provide the highest quality educational support. I value working in partnership with families and, where appropriate, schools and other professionals to ensure each child receives consistent, holistic support that helps them grow in confidence, independence, and achievement.
